David the selling agent was very professional. He helped me along the way of my purchase of my house. Always answered my queries and offered advice on any questions i asked. The purchase went through very smoothly. The only advice i would give if your French is very basic like mine. Print of all paper with you receive as in surveys and checks and see if you can have them translated into English. A pain but I would say worth it.

Our agent, Pamela Vidal, was so helpful and professional from the beginning of our property search on line in the UK, to our subsequent visits to France to view properties and then finalise paperwork etc. The purchasing process was explained clearly, and everything we were told would happen actually did! Upon completion Pamela has been on hand to help with things like broadband and utilities etc. Pamela helped us find our dream property in France, don’t think we could have done it without her and we are so grateful to her. Was unsure as Leggett seem to have a bit of a stranglehold on British buyers BUT our particular Immoblier is fabulous, so helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely nice. She kept the whole purchase moving along ( there were a few hold ups due to legal hoops to jump through) and helped us with any queries , replying when really she should have been putting her feet up!

We met James Tulloch a year ago when we enquired about buying a house in the Pyrenees Orientale. He showed us 2 properties after our brief. The second was perfect and we made an offer the next day. Over the following months James was always at our side during this exciting, but scary and daunting process. He answered all of our questions as well as many others that we hadn't thought of. He also introduced us to many useful agencies and people so that the whole process ran smoothly, from money exchange, French banks, home insurance to builders, electricians. He also went way beyond his role to ensure personally that the house was cleared and cleaned to the agreement. And even now after 6 months he still answers the odd question that we might have. I cannot recommend Leggetts enough. In particular James Tulloch. And if you ever visit the Pyrenees Orientale to buy a house then you might be lucky enough to meet him.
