Dear Andrew, I recently received your review from our head office, and I want to address your concerns. It's important to understand that it was your Notary in Mansle who identified that your existing rental agreement did not comply with French regulations. Consequently, they insisted that I collaborate with the buyer's Notary to create a new contract. Your tenants did not wish to have their names associated with the utility bills. However, an even more critical issue was the condemned boiler in the property. Transferring the responsibility for this boiler to the buyers would have posed significant legal challenges. In essence, it would have been legally impossible to proceed with the sale under these circumstances. I understand that you might be feeling disappointed, but it's essential to recognize that the outcome of the tenants, leaving the property was, in fact, the most viable option for both you and the buyers.
