We sold our house through Leggett Immobilier in difficult times for the housing market. Although it took a while, due to the circumstances, Elizabeth Day did not give up and brought lots of prospective buyer to view the property. She was always on hand with advice and tried a variety of methods to find new ways to bring the property to a wider audience. I cannot speak too highly of her efforts.

I started looking at properties in the area more than two years ago, and viewed several with different agencies to find the right property to meet my needs. I met Elizabeth Day early on, and her advice and guidance was invaluable. She helped me navigate the process of buying a French property before, during and after my move from the U.S. to France, and was instrumental in finding the right property at the right price. I couldn’t recommend Elizabeth at Leggett more highly.

Absolutely hopeless, could not send me proper details so that I could arrange insurance and never even saw an agent, not even at the notaires. 5000euros for nothing!

We had a realistic conversation about the price at which the property should be marketed and we agreed to settle for less. We received good helpful advice. There was a delay in completing the sale but Leggetts were in regular contact with the notaire to ensure we understood the reasons for the delay.

Our agent Cornelia Wilson was excellent at every stage. She was easy to contact, responded quickly, efficiently and sensibly to any query or issue. We could not have achieved all we did without her. Very many thanks.

I do not think we can find enough words to describe how satisfied we are with our agent Anne. The process of finding a buyer was long and I am sure exhausting for her. However she was always positive in her expectation that the right buyer would come along. Once the sale process started everything progressed in a organised set path through completion. All services were dealt with in a short time Anne doing all the work. In running in to completion Anne even organised a late occurring minor maintenance problem in time for the process. Not only that Anne and her partner have been superb neighbours giving so much support a so much friendship and fun making our enjoyment of our time in Cromieres so fantastic. We asked Leggetts to give us a valuation prior to putting our home on the market. We had previously had dealings with Leggetts agents when first moving to france and weren’t that impressed, so we didn’t expect to actually go with Leggetts. Christine came to see us and was brilliant from the outset. She was professional, efficient and nothing was too much trouble for her. Throughout the process she kept us updated. She chased up anything that was outstanding and her knowledge was outstanding. We could totally rely on Christine and we would highly recommend her.
